Elsah Foundation

Historic Elsah Foundation, which was incorporated in 1971 as a non-profit organization, has as its purpose the preservation and enhancement of the historic buildings, houses, architecture, and culture of the Village of Elsah, Illinois, through the encouragement of historical research on the Village and other nearby historic areas. It publishes brochures, pamphlets, and a newsletter devoted to Elsah history. The foundation engages in activities intended to increase public appreciation of Elsah and its place in history. It sponsors research projects, educational meetings, house tours and walking tours, as well as being a co-sponsor of the Village of Elsah Museum.
