Jeffrey Vaughn will give a talk titled “Landscape” as HEF’s second spring 2012 Hosmer Williams speaker.  Vaughn will show examples of his work and discuss his artistic approach.  Mr. Vaughn is a well-known and respected artist with numerous exhibits and awards.  He is currently represented by Fischbach Gallery of New York, New York, B. Deemer Gallery of Louisville, KY and Harris Gallery of Houston, Texas. This talk is sponsored by Liberty Bank, Godfrey, Illinois. HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Activities take place throughout the afternoon from 3 pm through 6:30 pm; the house tour is from 3 pm to 5:45 pm.
The Village of Elsah opens its doors for the annual “Home for the Holidays” house tour. A selection of charming homes in this historic Village will be open; the Village is festively decorated for the holiday season.  In addition, two bed and breakfast inns, the village’s two churches featuring special music, the Elsah Museum, and 19th century Farley’s Music Hall will be open for the tour. The tour will be followed by an old fashioned caroling procession.
This is an educational and fund raising event sponsored by Historic Elsah Foundation.

Tickets are $15 and will be available late fall at the Alton Visitor’s Center, at several business in Elsah, or, after 1 pm on the day of the tour, at either the Village Museum or at Farley’s Music Hall.

HOLIDAY CONCERT
